Ghana election 2016: Voting underway in Jaman North – Day 2

Voting has resumed early Thursday morning at Jaman North Constituency where shortage of electoral materials forced the process to come to a halt on election day.

Political parties agents at the Jaman North agreed to suspend voting in the area on Wednesday due to a dispute related to material availability.

The Electoral Commission however, rejected the suspension and dispatched the necessary materials needed to allow voting to continue but had to officially postpone the exercise to today citing security concerns.
