NPP commends Ghanaians for good conduct during elections

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has commended Ghanaians for conducting themselves well in the presidential and parliamentary elections.

“Despite some incidents at the polling stations, the people have turned out en masse and demonstrated to the world that Ghana wants change.”

A statement issued by the NPP and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday, urged all Ghanaians to remain vigilant, observe the counting of ballots at their polling stations, and verify that the correct results were reported by their polling station and constituency collation centres.

“We would like to once again, thank all of our volunteers, polling agents, and supporters for their help in getting to this point,” it said.

The statement said a few more hours was a small sacrifice to make adding: “We are sure we don’t have four more years of the mismanagement, incompetence and corruption of the Mahama led NDC government.”

It noted that vigilance was a key for change saying: “Together, we will bring change to Ghana.” GNA
