The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Enoch Teye Mensah, has dismissed the assertion that, he and Sam George, The Parliamentary Candidate elect for the area, have smoked the peace pipe, in the lead up, to this year’s Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.
According to E.T. Mensah, he never rescinded his decision to petition the Party over alleged fraud that was perpetrated by Sam George and his cohorts before and on the Election Day.
The NDC Parliamentary, nominee for the Ningo-Prampram, Sam George was reported to have said, he still has space, in his campaign team, for his god-father in Politics, E.T Mensah, irrespective of whatever he was alleged to have done against him, while campaigning.
But in an interview with XYZ News, the out-going MP, Mr. Mensah, who is also the Chairman of The NDC Greater Accra Caucus in Parliament, said, Mr. Sam George never reconciled with him, as reported in the media.
He, however, accused him of peddling falsehood. According to him, Sam George did not only manipulate the voters’ register, but he also bussed people, from other parts of The Region, and they came to Ningo-Prampram and voted for him.
