Nana Addo: Pray for peaceful elections in November

Nana-Akufo-AddoPresidential Candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has asked Ghanaians to pray for the country before, during and after this year’s election in November.

He noted that Ghana’s peace cannot be taken for granted adding that the onus lies on all Ghanaians to ensure that peace prevails in the country.

Speaking at the Grace Baptist Church in Kumasi on Sunday, Nana Addo said this year’s election will determine the future of Ghana.

“We pray that in this difficult year, summed up by insecurity, fear, inexplicable deaths, joblessness, and economic hardships for our people, the Lord protects us, protects Ghana, and ensures that the peace and security of our nation remain intact, even though we are going to have an election. [We pray] that the election, itself, will be conducted in a satisfactory manner whose outcome will bring us together, and not tear us apart,” he prayed.
