NDC Primaries: Voting materials delay at Tarkwa Nsueam

The absence of voting materials to be used in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential and Parliamentary elections in the Tarkwa Nsueam Constituency, has delayed the process.

As at 1030 hrs, that the Ghana News Agency (GNA), visited the Electoral Commission’s office at Tarkwa community center, register, forms, ballot papers as well as other materials had not yet arrived.

Mr Kwaku Owusu Addo, the EC in charge of Tarkwa Nsueam, he and his deputy officer spent the night their regional office in Sekondi, and till now, the voting materials have still not arrived.

“The delay of electoral materials is going to put pressure on those of us who are going to work on them”, he said.

Mr Owusu Addo assured the NDC members that his officers will ensure that every eligible voter will cast his vote in due course.

Mr Paa Kwasi Ephriam, the NDC constituency organizer for Tarkwa Nuseam, appealed to all NDC members across the country to respect the rules and regulations governing the elections. GNA
