A spokesman for the Ghana Police Services, has told VibeGhana.com that the department will soon send out an invitation to musician Shatta Wale to come in for questioning.
The police source who asked to remain anonymous said a copy of an interview granted by dancehall star Shatta Wale in which he claimed his ex-manager with whom he parted ways with last week had once threatened to kill him (Shatta Wale) like he killed “that guy” has been delivered to the CID headquarters.
He said the police will invite Shatta Wale in for questioning which he said will happen within the next few days.
“We have heard Shatta Wale’s comment, infact we have a copy of the whole comment and an invitation will go out to him to come in to assit the police to identify the person he claims his former manager told him he had killed”.
He said the Ghana Police Services has many criminal cases including homicides that have gone cold because of lack of leads and encourages the public to tip the police with information so people with hands in criminal activities will be held accountable.
“We have criminal cases from years which are yet to be solved because people don’t want to talk, we have open murder cases and we ( Ghana Police) want Ghanaians to report any leads to help us solve them”.
Shatta Wale, while speaking at a press conference on an Accra radio station to address the split between him and Bull Dog claimed that the later once threatened to kill him like he killed the “other guy”
He said Bull Dog threatened his life during an argument over a business negotiation. “He said I will kill am (Shatta Wale) like the way I killed the guy” Shatta Wale alleged.
Since the airing of Shatta Wale’s press conference, many personalities including Kwaw Kese, who’s manager Fennec Okyere was killed at his residence in 2014 have called on the police to launch an investigation into Shatta Wale’s revelations.
