Strategic Communications Africa Limited, (Stratcomm Africa) has been recognised among the top 100 companies in the country by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) at the Ghana Club 100 award ceremony in Accra.
The Ghana Club 100 ranking is an annual initiative by the GIPC to honour companies which have excelled in their various areas of operations under the year in review.
Madam Esther Cobbah, Chief Executive Officer of Stratcomm Africa and PR Personality of the Year 2013 and past CIMG Marketing Woman of the Year, expressed joy for becoming a member of the prestigious Club.
“We are happy but, at the same time, feel challenged and as a team, we have come a long way. We are grateful to our clients, media, suppliers and partners as well as all our other stakeholders for believing in us and supporting us,” she said.
She gave the assurance that the company would continue to remain committed to delivering excellent communication solutions to its clients as well as pursuing effective business principles.
Commenting on the award, Professor Samuel Adjepong, Board Chairman, Stratcomm Africa, said it confirmed the commitment to professional excellence, professional integrity, and dedication to excellence that was evident in Stratcomm Africa’s operations.
Speaking on the theme “Impact Investments and Sustainable Economic Development” Mr Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff at the Presidency, said government would continue to create the enabling environment to attract more investors in the country.
He congratulated the companies which were recognised on their achievements and urged them to continue working hard in support of the economy.
Mr Charles Boamah, Vice-President, African Development Bank, underscored the commitment of the Bank in promoting and sustaining Africa’s development.
Mrs Mawuena Trebah, Chief Executive Officer of GIPC said the winners were chosen based on merit, saying that organisers would continue to receive feedback from the Club members to make the subsequent ones more better.
The prestigious awards were presented to the 100 top companies selected through a rigorous process by Ernst & Young, an international accounting firm. GNA
