Legendary highlife musician, Charles Kwadwo Ofosu also known as Daddy Lumba says he remains unfazed by the several rumours of his demise from this world.
The musician with several hit albums explained that his belief in the fact that he can’t exist forever makes him feel relaxed by such rumours.
“I am not really disturbed by these rumours about my death…because I know that one day I will certainly be no more…,” he said on Peace FM.
There have been several wild rumours about the death of the celebrated legend of the highlife genre with recent ones indicating that he passed away in Accra after a short illness.
Thus, on the occasion of his 51st birthday, Daddy Lumba said he was very grateful to the Lord for protecting him and his music career.
He further thanked several individuals for contributing to the success of his songs and doctors in Ghana who helped saved his life when he fell seriously ill.
Thus in commemoration of this great feat, Daddy Lumba who revealed he has never celebrated his birthday said he was organizing a bash to celebrate his 51st birthday and also launch his newly released gospel album which he featured Isaiah Ampong.
He however said that he is only worried by the reaction of his relatives to such death rumours and warned people to stop that.
