Government appointee in Effutu files nomination

Mr. Ambrose Entsiwah Junior, a long-standing government appointee in the Effutu Municipality, has filed his nomination to contest the constituency’s parliamentary primaries of the NDC.

He is contesting the primary with two other candidates, Mr. Henry Kweku Bortsie Ghartey, educationist and Mr. Eric Don Arthur former TV 3 Morning Show host.

Mr. Entsiwah went on a float through the principal streets of Winneba, amidst singing and chanting of NDC slogans to the party office where he submitted his forms,

Addressing the gathering later, he thanked them for their support, and said he would not abuse the trust and confidence reposed in him.

He said the task ahead of the party was bigger, and there was the need for all and sundry to bury their differences and throw their weight behind him, in order to collectively fight to take the parliamentary seat back from the NPP.

‘We are going to conduct clean and decent campaign devoid of insults and attacks, let us as NDC members remember that there is one big task ahead of us, and that is the 2016 elections, which we are going to win,’ he added.

Mr. Odoom Porku, the constituency electoral director who received the forms, congratulated him for the steps he had taken, and appealed to him to advise his supporters to comport themselves. GNA
