Kwaku Bonsam, a New York Times featured Ghanaian spiritualist says he has been instructed by his gods to start singing hip pop in order for him to win an award in Ghana.
The dreaded Bonsam, who claimed to have won numerous international awards said unless he takes to rapping he doesn’t see himself being recognized doing spiritual work.
In a short interview video made available to VibeGhana.com Bosam shared his disappointment over how traditionalist like him are being excluded from award nominations.
“I won two awards in America, one for most powerful spiritualist in Africa, I also heal a sick person in Manhattan and I was awarded for it but in Ghana they give awards to pastor but not traditionalist”.
