Accra Great Olympics defeated Berekum Chelsea 4-2 in the 26th week league game of the First Capital Plus Premier League (FCPL) at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
Olympics, who are struggling to keep a place in the premiership came down from a goal to record the important victory after Chelsea scored in the 3rd minute through Kofi Owusu.
Ofoe Ofotsu equalised for Olympics in the 22nd minutes, with Agbashie Dietse and Godwin Attram stretching the lead in the 23rd and 32nd minutes.
Olympics hanged on to the lead till the close of first half.
On resumption Chelsea reduced the tally in the 69thminute from Stephen Baffour, but Olympics ensured the led was under no threat as Dan Appiah sealed victory for them with a fourth goal in the last quarter of the game.
Despite the victory, Olympics will have to continue with their struggle for survival in the league till the last matches are cleared. GNA
