The Black Satellites coach has presented a 21-man squad to Fifa ahead of the U-20 World Cup in New Zealand
Ghana U-20 coach Sellas Tetteh has included eight foreign-based players in his final 21-man squad for the upcoming Fifa U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
The famous among the foreign players are Spanish-based Clifford Aboagye and Godfred Donsah of Italian side Calgliari.
Tetteh, who won the 2009 World Cup in Egypt, retained majority of the players who played at the African Youth Championship in Senegal this year where they won bronze.
Austria-based duo Lawrence Ati-Zigi and David Atanga, defender Emmanuel Ntim of Valenciennes, Rio Ave’s Emmanuel Boateng and Osei Barnes, who plays for Portuguese side Paios Ferriera, managed to gatecrash the squad.
The coach settled on his final squad after Wednesday’s 1-0 international friendly defeat to Portugal in Sydney, Australia.
The Black Satellites are paired in Group B alongside Argentina, Panama and Austria, and will open their campaign against the Austrians on May 30 at the Wellington Regional Stadium.
