British Airways has announced the appointment of Mr. Kelvin Leung, as the new commercial manager for its operations in Ghana.
Mr. Leung takes over from Mr. Moran Birger, who is taking a new role as regional commercial manager for British Airways in South East Asia.
A statement from British Airways says Mr. Leung is a graduate of the University College London, and the London School of Economics, where he obtained a masters degree in health, population and society.
It said he brings nearly three years of experience in British Airways planning, customer service and sales development departments, to his new role in Ghana.
The release said Mr. Leung worked on the in-flight customer experience business planning and initiatives.
It said Mr.Leung has also worked on optimizing British Airways’global network, specifically in Africa and the Middle East, as well as in a sales development role on British Airways joint business with Japan Airlines and Finnair.
In the words of Mr. Leung, “Ghana is one of British Airways’ most important routes, and our experts ranked it recently as one of the top places in the world to visit.”
He continued, “We have been here for nearly 80 years, and we are very optimistic about the future here, and I am personally honored to be taking up this role.” GNA
