The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF), has appointed Gabonese referee, Eric Otogo-Castane to officiate the semi-final match involving Ghana and Equatorial Guinea in Malabo on Thursday.
Otogo- Castane, a FIFA referee is to be assisted by Algerian Abdelhak Etchiali and Jerson Emiliano dos Santos from Angola for the last-four clash.
According to information available to GNA Sports, Mehdi Abid-Charef from Algeria will serve as the fourth official.
Otogo-Castane, 38, was in charge when Ghana, making a fifth attempt at continental glory that spans over three decades lost the third place match in South Africa 2013 to Mali.
The Gabonese who has officiated 37 international matches is less economical with his cautions, having shown 106 yellow cards and three red cards over the period.
The Black Stars are making a fifth successive semi finals appearance at the biannual gathering for Africa’s best 16 teams.
