Hip-life artiste, Kwaw Kese will spend this year’s Christmas in jail after being denied bail for the fourth time.
This was after a Kumasi Circuit court denied him bail and adjourned the case to January 6.
On Saturday, November 22 around 11p.m, Kwaw Kese was spotted near Plus 2, a popular tavern in Kumasi, by members of the Drug Law Enforcement Unit publicly smoking a substance suspected to be marijuana.
He was subsequently arrested and the substance sent to the Police Forensic Laboratory in Accra for testing.
At the last court sitting on the case, the prosecution said the results of the test were ready to be exhibited in court on December 22, which was yesterday.
However, the case was adjourned to Tuesday, December 23, because Kwaw Kese had been sent to the hospital.
