Attendance at ongoing 8th National Delegates Congress of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kumasi is disappointing apparently due to the strict accreditation procedures.
The Daily Graphic’s Daniel Kenu reports that there appears to be more action outside the 43,0000 capacity Baba Yara Stadium than inside.
Party faithful and journalists are still struggling to be accredited and security has been extremely tight.
Known faces within the party who appeared at the main entrance without accreditation were turned away.
Consequently, many party supporters have remained outside, where they have been singing and dancing.
Traditional music and dance mainly from the northern region and hip life music have filled the atmosphere, while food sellers are also cashing in very fast.
