UT Bank has presented a cheque for GHC10,000 to the winner of the first mini draw in its deposit mobilisation promotion that seeks to encourage the culture of savings among Ghanaians.
The promotion dubbed “100 for 100,000”, also seeks to deepen the relationship between the bank and its customers.
Mrs Mary Kessie, General Manager, Women’s Market, presented the cheque to the winner Diana Quartey at a colourful ceremony in Accra.
Under the promotion, existing and new customers are requested to deposit GH¢100.00 or multiples of GH¢100.00 into their current, personal savings or “Koowa” accounts between September and December.
Mrs Kessie said with every GH¢100.00 deposited, customers would earn points which would qualify them for the grand draw in December.
The ultimate prizes for the major draw in January 2015 would be amounts of GH¢ 100,000, GH¢30,000 and GH¢10,000 with other lucky winners taking home prizes such as refrigerators, microwave ovens, mobile phones, television sets among others”.
