Vodafone Ghana has held a quiz competition for its staff as part of efforts to develop and position its employees as internal brand ambassadors who would deliver premium customer experience.
It is also to deepen employees understanding of its products and services and to position Vodafone as the best telecom brand.
The month-long quiz competition culminated in a grand finale at Vodafone’s head office in Accra, after successful mini quizzes among employees at the functional and regional levels.
The professionally structured quiz competition provided very challenging customer engaging scenarios and other questions, which required participants to apply logical reasoning, critical thinking, institutional knowledge and problem solving skills in arriving at the answers.
Explaining the essence of the quiz, Stella Agyenim -Boateng, Director of Human Resources, said Vodafone was passionate about offering unmatched customer experience to customers and therefore organised the nationwide quiz competition to position its employees to better support its customers and also promote the products and services the Business delivers.
“The quiz was a resounding success and a great platform for having a good time whilst educating ourselves about our Vodafone,’’ she said.
Participants in the grand finale included representatives from the Commercial, Technology and Corporate functions as well as the Eastern/Volta, Central/ Western, Ashanti / Brong-Ahafo, and Upper West / Upper East / Northern regions.
Francis Adusu, who represented the Eastern/Volta regions, was adjudged winner of the quiz competition.
He received a smartphone and all-expenses paid trip, as well as a cash prize. GNA
