According to William Barclay; “There are two great days in a person’s life – the day we are born and the day we discover why”. Today, Friday, October 3, 2014 marks the 59th birthday of Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the lead contender in the upcoming NPP primaries.
Born on October 3, 1955 to the late Dr. Alexander Atta Yaw Kyerematen from Patase, Kumasi and Victoria Kyerematen from Elmina and Ejisu, Alan has been a blessing to NPP, Ghana, Africa, and the a World at large because of his exemplary knowledge in Trade Policy. He speaks Twi fluently, and is fluent in Ga, Fante, English and French, and is married to Patricia Christabel Kyerematen, the daughter of Justice Kingsley Nyinah, Chairman of Ghana’s Electoral Commission during the 1979 presidential election. The couple has two children namely Alexander and Victor.
Alan Kyerematen attended Adisadel College at the record age of nine (9) years, and thereafter attended the prestigious Achimota School for his sixth form education. He proceeded to the University of Ghana, Legon for a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Alan Kyerematen also holds a Law degree, LLB from the Ghana Law School at the same university where he qualified as a Barrister-at-Law. In short, Alan is a lawyer, economist, diplomat, and business consultant. Alan has rich public and private life spanning over 40 years.
As he marks his 59th birthday today, Alan is in Brong-Ahafo Region pleading with NPP delegates to give him the chance to lead the party in the next National Elections. He is respectfully making himself available to the delegates, explaining his vision and answering questions from the very people who protect the ballot boxes at the Polling Station level.
GAKE therefore takes this opportunity to wish Alan Kyerematen, the best of luck in his endeavours. We pray for God’s protection against any evil plans. His dream of paying party workers and creating jobs opportunities for majority of Ghanaians cannot be materialised without our support.
Therefore, as Alan turns 61 years by December 2016 (Election Year), the same age at which Candidate Kufuor of the NPP was voted into power, it is our prayer that, the NPP delegates would give him the mandate this time around to lead the party into the Flagstaff House. The NPP cannot afford to lose Election 2016. As Alan rightly put it; “I hold the key to the Flagstaff House”.
May God shower His blessings upon Alan and install him as the next president of Ghana!
Happy Birthday, Chief Alan Kyerematen!
