Court remands mason in custody for robbery

A 30-year old mason, Kofi Bulisah, has been remanded into prison custody for robbery by a Takoradi Circuit Court.

He was charged for unlawful entry, stealing and causing harm and would re- appear on June 6.

The Western Regional Public Relations Officer of the Police Service, Assistant Superintendent of Police told the GNA that on April 26 Bulisah attacked Nancy Obeng, 34, in her residence and robbed her of GHc850.00 and some items.

Some of the items stolen included a Black Berry mobile phone valued at GHc120.00, another mobile phone valued at GHc60.00 and a purse containing a voter’s ID card, a National Health Insurance card and an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card.

She reported the theft to the police and Bulisah was arrested. GNA
