Six persons have been granted bail in the sum of GHc30,000 with two sureties each for alleged murder by a Half-Assini Magistrates’ court.
They are Isaac Buah, 48, a security man, Francis Cobbinah, 28, a driver, Ernest Baah, 32, a driver, Frank Cobbinah, 27, a driver, Michael Arizi, 45, a miller and Solomon Nyamekye, 42, a trader.
The accused persons were alleged to have murdered one Acheampong, a farmer at New Kabenlah-Suazo near Half-Assini in the Jomoro District on February 22 this year.
Their plea was not taken.
The presiding Magistrate Mr. Hans Kpogo, said the court does not have jurisdiction over the case and referred the case to the State Attorney for advice.
However, he ordered the accused persons to report to the Tikobo Number One police station every Monday. GNA
