Golden Pride donates exercise books to school

Golden Pride Savings and Loan Company has donated 4,000 exercise books costing GHC6, 400 to pupils of the Goldfields School Complex at Tarkwa.

Presenting the books Mr. Peter Frazier Owusu-Kusi, Senior Manager of the Company, said the donation was part of the company’s programme to support the education of children in the Tarkwa- Nusaem Municipality.

He said the Company had plans to open accounts for all pupils of the school as part of its social responsibility and to inculcate the habit of saving in the children.

He said the programme would be extended to all schools in the municipality and the entire Western Region.

Receiving the exercise books the Headmistress, Mrs. Agnes Aziliko, expressed the appreciation to the company for its assistance to the school. GNA
