Eighteen-year-old Nuhu Aziz has emerged the overall winner in the “Bajaj Mileage Champion” contest held in Wa on Monday.
He took away a Boxer BM 150 horsepower motor bike, a helmet and a certificate as his prize for emerging the overall winner of the competition organized by Bajaj Auto Limited an Indian motor manufacturing company.
Imoro Majeed took away a Boxer BM 100 horsepower motor bike, a helmet and a certificate for placing second while Zongo Naa Issah took home an LG 32 LED TV, a helmet and a certificate for emerging third in the competition.
Those who placed fourth to tenth positions were also presented with one helmet and a certificate each for participating in the competition.
The competition involved allocating the same quantity of fuel to the participants to ride round a circle until their fuel tanks were emptied and the rider whose fuel finished last was declared the winner.
Mr Shankar Sharma, Branch Manager of Somoco Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of Bajaj Auto Ltd thanked all the participants for making the competition a successful and an entertaining event.
He said Bajaj Boxer motors had been manufactured with high quality technology which made it stronger both inside and outside.
The Branch Manager appealed to the public to buy the Boxer BM 100 or 150 horsepower motor and get value for their money.
Nuhu Aziz, the first prize winner thanked the company for organizing the competition and described the Boxer motor as one that had a smooth sound and low fuel consumption rate as compared to other motor bikes on the market.
He appealed to all who had plans to buy motor bike to go in for the Boxer BM 100 or 150 to enjoy a smooth riding experience. GNA
