Muslims praised for celebrating Eid-ul-Adha

Nakoa Prophet Nazareth Ansah Jamson, Founder and Leader of the Israel King of Jews Church has praised Muslims for the celebration of Eid-ul-Adha feast.

He said the sacrificial feast of slaughtering of animals plays very important role in cleansing of sin and spiritual upliftment in human lives.

Nakoa made the remark in an interview with Ghana News Agency after he had led his church members to sacrifice a burnt ram at the church’s new site at Dome, in Greater Accra, which coincided with the Muslims Eid-ul-Adha on Tuesday.

He said it is about time the Christian religion consider and emulate Muslims by burning animals as sacrifice to God as directed in the scriptures of Leviticus.

He said the offering of the sacrifice was revealed to him by God about 10 years ago and that the maiden performance on the theme: “The Sacrifiction of God” would be an annual affair by the church.

He used the occasion to congratulate the Muslims and wished them a happy “Barika-desalah.” GNA
