Ghana Medical Detachment 9 of the United Nations in Cote d’ Ivoire (UNOCI GHANMED 9) on Thursday donated a set of public address systems and other electronic gadgets worth GH¢ 5,050 to the Military Hospital in Accra.
Colonel Micheal Kwadwo Yeboah Agyapong, Commanding Officer of UNOCI GHANMED 9 presenting the items, said the equipment would promote the effective organisation of public functions in the Hospital.
He said the equipment could be rented to others to raise money to help maintain the Hospital.
Receiving the items Col Ralph Kwadwo Ametepi, Commander of the 37 Military Hospital, expressed gratitude to UNOCI GHANMED 9 and called for more support from other philanthropists. GNA
