Ms Josephine Bagyour wins Excellence Awards

Ms Josephine Bagyour, a graduate from the Saint Teresa’s College of Education (TERESCO) in Hohoe is a proud recipient of the Excellence Award bestowed on distinguished performance by the University of Cape Coast.

She annexed a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.71, which is above the threshold of 3.7 grade point, to be adjudged the overall Best Student, among the 38 Colleges of Education, for the 2011/2012 batch examination.

Ms Bagyour received a cash prize, a laptop, printer and a citation for her feat.

Mr Prosper Addo, Vice Principal of the College said Ms Florence Adom, a former graduate of TERESCO won the 2010 version of the Excellence Awards.

He said two other graduates attained fist class honours in the final examinations.

TERESCO held its congregation for 126 graduates on Saturday at the College premises on the theme: “Excellence Future Formation: A Key to Good Performance in Basic Schools.” GNA
