For this year’s, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), the Vodafone Red room experience was taken to a whole new level.
The special invited guests began their evening at the Moevenpick Hotel with drinks and cocktails, and then they were chauffeur-driven from the hotel to the Accra Conference Centre.
Once the guests got to the centre, they were ushered through an experiential gallery to the Red room which had two different themes; a ‘nightclub’ experience for those who wanted to party, and a ‘casual lounge’ for those who wanted to experience the VGMA in a more relaxing environment.
Both rooms had big screens with a live feed of what was happening, which made guests feel a part of the main event, while enjoying a choice of mouth watering finger food and their favourite alcoholic beverages and mixed drinks.
The Red room also had a wide range of personalities, from the corporate to the showbiz industry.
Vodafone first introduced the Red room to the VGMA last year, and it caused such an excitement and buzz that Vodafone brought it back again this year.
Simultaneously, on the other side of town, hundreds of fans were dazzled by live performances from artistes such as Raquel, Kaki, Kwaw Kesse and 4 X 4 at the VGMA Fan Park.
The free event, which took place at the La Trade Fair Centre car park, gave the opportunity to fans who couldn’t be at the main event to feel like they were part of it as they got to view the show live on giant screens. GNA
