NDC Supporters admonished not to agitate over President Mahama’s Appointment.

The deputy national organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Joseph Akamba has called on the grass root supporters of the party not to agitate over the ongoing appointments been made by the President into   his governNDC rallyment.

Cross section of the supporters and some leading members of the party had agitated furiously about the appointments of the former president, the late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Miles into his government, making it difficult for some of them to  be at post.

The group also, was believed to have closed down some office of Districts and Municipal Assemblies and seized some public place of convenient in the regional capitals.

The president elects, John Dramani Mahama few days after his successful inauguration has started making new appointments into his cabinet and into some ministerial positions, in this regard the public, especially some supporters of the party are with the view that the president should appoint those who were physically known in the party than unknown faces in the party.

But Mr. Joseph Akamba explained to vibeghana.com that, the president is interested in competency and those who believes in the policies of the party than just been a member of the party.

He cited that that president Mahama has had fruitful deliberations with the national leadership of the party and all who matters in the party before making any appointment.
