Nana Addo Danquah Akufu Addo, Flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has said the party would not accept the results of the just ended Presidential elections, which were announced by the National Electoral Commission on Sunday, December 9th, 2012.

“The position of the National Executive Council of the NPP is that we refuse to accept the results,” he said.

Speaking to a large crowd of NPP supporters at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle on Tuesday in Accra, the NPP Flag Bearer said “we would contest the results at the Supreme court. However long it takes, the truth of this election would come out.”

He reminded the party faithfuls that the NPP party was known for being a peaceful party “so let us strive to maintain that image and avoid any kind of violent behavior, and wait patiently for the decision of the court”. GNA

Don’t TARNISH our image arround the globe as we’ve created a SUPERB name for Ghana in terms of peace.
The reason was clear that you only won in the same 2 regions that you did 4 years ago,ASHANTI and EASTERN. We used to have the FANTIS and the BRONGS in a UNION called the AKANS,,but they left us in the COLD for the reason that they did not like the way they were being treated by expecially the ASHANTIS.Mr,Akufo-Addo,even former president K4 did not want you to head the NPP in the first place.Ghanaians have nothing so please do not BRAINWASH your followers to a WAR.
You took the last election easy because you thought you had this year’s as your last because you’re now too old to contest the next election.
You needed to win more than just 2 regions to be CLEAR.
