Amidaus’ Mohammed takes tally to eight

Amidaus Professionals midfielder, Yahaya Mohammed, has strengthened his grip at the summit of the scorers chart of the 2012/2013 Premier League with eight goals after 10 matches.

The 24-year midfielder on loan from Asante Kotoko, hit his eighth goal of the season, the equalizer in derby meeting Tema Youth which ended one-all last week.

Mohammed, experiencing the form of his life, is trailed by Liberty Professionals midfielder Kennedy Ashia and Tema Youth youngster Francis Narh, both on six goals apiece.

On five goals is Latif Salifu (Berekum Chelsea) whilst Mahatma Otoo (Hearts of Oak), Yakubu Mohamed (AshantiGold) and Seidu Salifu (All Stars) have each scored four times.

Information gathered by GNA Sports indicates that Abdul Aziz Yusif (Real Tamale United), Kofi Nti Boakye (Asante Kotoko) and Medeama duo, Theophilus Anobaah and Kabiru Moro have each hit the back of the net thrice.

As many as 53 players have each scored one goal each in the premiership which has recorded 124 goals so far.
