The Sekondi Consitotuency is witnessing some sort of electoral upheaval over the results of the parliamentary candidate as both the NDC and the NPP thinks they are the winner after the announcement of the results by the Presiding officer of the constituency.
Captain Anthony Cudjoe, the NDC Parliamentary candidate who is challenging the results purport that during the provisional counting he was declared the winner with over 493 votes while the NPP Candidate, Paapa Owusu Ankomah had 283 votes but according to him the results had been tempered in favour of the incumbent NPP candidate.
This generated exchange of words from both the supporters of both candidate at the Youth Centre in Sekondi which is the collation centre for the Sekondi Constituency.
The NDC candidate had therefore threaten legal action which the NPP incumbent says he was already to do battle at any level to secure his seat.
