Kofi Brako wins Tema Central seat for NPP

Mr Kofi Brako, a businessman, who contested the seat for the newly created Tema Central Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 7 polls, was declared the winner with 26,948 votes.

Mr Nagei Oscar, Returning Officer for the constituency, who declared him the winner, said Mr James Enu, who contested on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) had 14,360 votes, whiles Mr Prince Kwabena Okyere, for Progressive Peoples Party (PPP) and Mr Issca Nuku Asempa for the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) had 3,510 and 193 votes respectively.

On the Presidential ticket, NDC had 16,635, with NPP 27,998, GCPP 26, CPP 85, PPP 292, PNC 17, UFP nil and Independent candidate three votes, Mr Nagei declared. GNA
