Asiedu Nketia: Stay calm NDC is ahead

Mr Asiedu Nketsia, General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), has assured party supporters to remain calm as they await the final results of the elections.

He said there were various indications from the constituencies already collated that the NDC was winning.

Mr Nketsia gave the assurance when he addressed the press upon his return from the tour of the Brong Ahafo, Western and the Ashanti Regions.

He expressed happiness with the peaceful nature of the process which started on Friday December 7.

He said the verification process of the electorate had created much more confidence in the country’s electoral processes which was a sign of improvement in the democratic credentials of the country.

Mr Nketsia said the party has already won 150 parliamentary seats thus far, out of the 275 seats in parliament and more are yet to be confirmed.

He commended the EC for the smooth conduct of the election and urged Ghanaians to live in unity saying there was no tension in Ghana as claimed by some people and that Ghana would remain in one peace.GNA

  1. There are lots of developing firms in the country and such should be taken very good care of to enable the people of this country, GHANA gain from it and such position should be given to the right person, I’m not from this country but yet I have seen Ghana to be a peaceful country and with such peace, this is my comment and should say vote for the right person for a better Ghana and move Ghana forward, not one child one laptop, that means, the school fees will be double then….. People of Ghana, think well, don’t go voting all because of empty promises (ONE CHILD, ONE LAPTOP) Such thing will only happen to one school and stories comes after… THINK OOOH…. PEOPLE OF GHANA, THIS IS A MOTHER LAND
