Some security personnel, mainly from the Ghana National Fire Service, were unable to cast their votes during the Tuesday special voting in the Ho Central Constituency.
This is because their names could not be found in the extracted list of 1090 personnel being used for the exercise.
Mr Stephen Dzorkpata, Ho Central Returning Officer, told the Ghana News Agency in Ho during the exercise that the names of those affected were being compiled for submission to Accra for the necessary action.
Mr Dzorkpata said though the exercise started quite late, all was smooth sailing.
He said a total of 176 special voters, out of 1090, had cast their votes as at 1044 hours.
Agents of the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress were monitoring the process. GNA
