Ms Harriet Anita Abaidoo, the CPP parliamentary candidate for South Okaikoi Constituency, has adopted transport approach of campaigning as she was seen by vibeghana.com in the early hours of Friday campaigning in a 207 commercial transport plying from Kaneshie to Abeka Lapaz all suburb of Accra.
She revealed to vibeghana.com that her choice of transport approach is to reach out to electorates who could not be met at one particular destination and therefore her transport approach would help reach such.
Ms Harriet Anita Abaidoo, mentioned that her aim of contesting the parliamentary seat for the Constituency is to empower okaikoi south for participatory democracy and development in respect of Ghana’s ongoing political process and socio-economic development, and promoting community development, peace and tranquility and advocacy for the less privileged, e.g. Women and children.
She said she wanted to develop the community, see to their welfare and also enhance the local enterprise by helping the unemployed youth acquire various vocation which would help them to be focused and also would help revive and form neighbourhood committees which would help know their basic needs, help provide recreational centre and stressed the need for a community library for her community.
