The Flames ranked 93 in the world face Black Stars away in September before hosting them later in October at Kamuzu stadium in Blantyre.

The Flames coach was reacting after the two teams were drawn together in the last round of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in South Africa.

“We are ready for Ghana this is our time to show the continent that we are one of big teams. They should not expect an easy ride against us , we know how they play but they are beatable” said Kinnah.

Malawi play African champions Zambia on Thursday as part of 48 years Independence celebrations , Chipolopolo beat Ghana 1-0 in the semi-finals of Africa Cup of Nations co-hosted by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon early this year.

Kinnah said the friendly match against Zambia will give him an opportunity to assess his charges before meeting Black Stars one of the continent most respectable teams.

“The draw has come at a good time as we are playing Zambia , the team that beat them during the Afcon finals and it is our hope that we will be able to learn few things on how to beat Ghana” added Kinnah.

The last time, Malawi played Ghana was in 2010 in Swaziland enroute to the Afcon cup finals in Angola , the match ended in a goalless draw.

However the Flames are itching to repay back the loans when they lost to the Black Stars by a cricket score line of 11-0 in the early 60 ‘s during the Independence celebrations.
