Airtel Malawi on Monday handed over the second Toyota Hilux Pick-up to Moses Chilemba Chirwa in the ongoing Yabooka Promotion.
Chilemba 27, a Kasungu district based businessman who owns a hawker at Chikhoma Trading Centre won the Pick-up in a draw conducted last week.
Speaking during the handover ceremony in Kasungu , Airtel Malawi marketing director Enwel Kadango said the promotion is one way of giving back to customers and saying thank you for embrace the Airtel brand.
“Our prizes in Yabooka enable some Malawians to earn a living and help their families financially”said Kadango.
In his turn, a visibly excited Chilemba Chirwa said , “ I cant believe this. I am very excited and I thank God for a such gift , Iam grateful to Airtel for changing my life. This is an excellent promotion which all Malawians should embrace”.
Chilemba is the second recipient of the Hilux Pick-up after Clement Mukumbwa a retired secondary school teacher won the first Pick-up two weeks ago.
In the promotion three lucky customers are also going away with K 250 000 each in the three regions of Malawi plus bicycles, handsets and Airtime every week.
Retailers weekly prizes include motorcycles , Airtime worth K20,000 , K10,000 sim cards with 5 maize mills to be given out as grand prizes.
