Ghana caretaker coach calls up 20 man squad to face Sudan

Ex Assistant coach of the Ghana Black Stars Kwesi Appiah, who was named caretaker coach after the departure of Milovan Rajevac has called up a 20 man Ghana squad to face Sudan  next month in an African Nations Cup qualifying game.

Two uncapped local players Emmanuel Clottey and Seth Owusu are among the call-ups and are set to make their debut for the Senior National Team.

Ghana plays the Sudan on October 10 in Accra. This will be Kwesi Appiah’s first game in charge as a caretaker coach since Milovan Rajevac left the Black Stars to sign with Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli.

Skipper John Mensah returns to lead the squad after missing the opening group game against Swaziland while Jordan Ayew earns himself a second successive call up.
