Zola wants to manage Ghana

Ghana Football Association vice-president Fred Pappoe has confirmed that Gianfranco Zola has sumitted his application for the vacant Black Stars post.

Zola, begun his coaching career as Italy’s under 21 assistant coach, He also spent 2 years coaching West Ham United in the English Premier League before he and the club parted ways at the end of last season.

Ghanaian born ex France captain Marcel Desailly has also applied for the job and is reported to be in serious talks with the GFA.

Since the abrupt departure of  Milovan Rajevac, The  GFA  has received over 60 applications from candidates interested in leading the Black Stars.
