The man who led Ghana’s Black Stars to the Quater finals of the 2010 world Cup Milovan Rajevac has quit his post as the head coach of the Black Stars.
Rajevac signed a 3 year contract worth about $4.5m with Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahly.
The 54 year old Serbian on Wednesday sent a text message to GFA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi to inform him of his decision.
The Serbian’s contract with Ghana expired on 17th August 2010 and has since been working with the Black Stars without a new contract been signed. The GFA had offered Rajevac a new four year contract which He had promised to signed but failed to do so.
Rajevac’s Abrupt departure puts the Black Stars who play host to Sudan next month in Accra in a very difficult position as the GFA searches for his replacement.
