English Premier League giants Arsenal have thrown away Inter Milan’s €35 million bid plus Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari for Spain international Cesc Fabregas.
The Nerazzurri attempted a surprise swoop for the midfield talisman plus transfer-listed Sulley Muntari but had their offer turned down.
Inter’s sporting director Marco Branca reportedly made the move which incensed rumours that the Ghanaian will be offloaded before the transfer window shuts on Tuesday.
Tuttorsports reported yesterday evening that the San Siro club is on the verge of concluding negotiations with Uefa Champions League campaigners Tottenham Hotspur.
Muntari has fallen out of favour after the departure of Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid.
