Rawlings: Mills is ignorant of happenings in his gov’t

Former President Jerry John Rawlings has described President Mills as a man oblivious of happenings in his own government.

In his speech to commemorate the 29th anniversary of the 31st December revolution, which toppled the democratically elected government of Dr. Hilla Limann, Mr. Rawlings only stopped short of calling the sitting President a ceremonial head

President John Evans Atta Mills yesterday re-emphasised the need for fellow African leaders to respect the will of the people by accepting the outcome of national elections.

He said it is wrong for political leaders to impose themselves on their people when it is clear that public verdict is against them
